Race control organisation

In the winter of 1996/1997 the preparations were started for building a brand new race control & technical inspection building. This new building enables the AMCA even more to organise big international events. With this new building the technical inspection staff now has more space for the required technical inspection equipment. The race control organisation (depending on the type of race) consists of a race control director, a time keeper, a voice over, a track official, transmitter inbound, and technical inspection. Sometimes specific jobs are combined, and for important races the mentioned individual jobs will be handled by more than one person, especially the technical inspection. The upper floor (above the race control room) is completely assigned for meetings during important international races.

The races
Depending on the type of race (international, national, and club-) race, the qualifications start at 10.00 hrs. In case you want to compete in our club competition, you will have to be an AMCA member, subscribe yourself for the race latest on Wednesday before the race (through this website), and you have to be present at the track at 09.00 hrs. By the way, audience is evidently always most welcome during the training and the races. During the course of the Sunday afternoon, usually the race becomes very interesting during the semi-/ and finals.




The technical inspection
At all races the technical testing is very important. At all classes, after each qualification heat and finals , the cars are among other things inspected on width, height (also of spoilers), and total weight. IC cars are for instance checked for the correct type of air filter, the so called INS-box (Inlet Noice Silencer) and whether the exhaust system is as per the international EFRA regulations. Elektro cars are inspected for the engine, the carbon brushes, the battery type and the tyres.
